Group uav (unmanned aerial vehicle ? drone) operations directorPoste proposé : GROUP UAV (UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE • DRONE) OPERATIONS DIRECTOR Group UAV Operations Director manages an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle flight operations department. Establishes Operating procedures and policies to include standard flight operations and ground operations policies and safety policies. He/she also ensures compliance with any in-countries regulations requirements in addition to company procedures. Main Responsibilities Establish operating procedures and policies Manage a team of UAV pilots and contractors in CONUS and OCONUS operations Responsible for career development of flight operations personnel Coordinate and approve test cards for UAV flight testing and demos Coordinate and request regulation restricted airspace as necessary Make recommendations for product quality and reliability Make recommendations for required investments Identify and negotiate with selected suppliers Interact with customers, technical and production staff Identify and pursue business development opportunities Reviews schedules and budgets with program managers Approves project expenses related to execution of flight operations functions Influence the overall objectives and long-range goals of the business division Acts as a Principal investigator on Accident/Incident Review Committees Establish and achieve annual UAV department budget. Profil recherché pour le emploi : GROUP UAV (UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE • DRONE) OPERATIONS DIRECTOR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATION B.S. in related Professional Aviation, Engineering discipline or Management. Minimum 3 years of experience in Tier 2,3 or 4 UAV flight operations Minimum 3 years personnel training, evaluating and supervisory experience FAA/EU or any International Recognised Commercial and Instrument Pilot Certifications Required Inspection and mapping UAV flying and technical experience required, instructor experience highly desired. Topographic, Technical, Power lines and Telecom background will be a plus SKILLS & ABILITIES Fluent with the English and French Language Ability to solve practical problems and deal& nbsp;with a variety of concrete variables in&n bsp;situations where only limited standardization exists Decision Making and leadership Skills Team player.
